iff Immersive Finance Forum

Since its establishment in 1989, the European Finance Forum (EFF) has served as a benchmark for connecting executives, advisors, and financial professionals across regional chapters. Today, the Immersive Finance Forum (iFF) takes this proven social architecture and translates it into an interactive digital space.

Rather than attempting to copy physical conference rooms, the iFF extends the forum concept into persistent digital environments. Where the traditional EFF relies on physical venues across six regional hubs, the immersive approach unites cities such as Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, London, Paris, and Amsterdam into a single interconnected virtual landscape.

In his firsthand report, attendee Aoshi Chen noted that an immersive gathering does not need to be a digital replica of a real-world meeting. Instead, spatial dimensions allow macro concepts and micro details to scale seamlessly. Participants can view overarching market dynamics as expansive topographies or zoom in to inspect microscopic corporate structures and biological animations.

Furthermore, virtual spaces can serve as interconnected hubs linking distinct domain worlds—such as banking, capital markets, sustainable finance, and regulatory technology. By allowing spaces to evolve over time, the environment itself becomes an active element of the educational experience, creating a continuous community venue rather than isolated, time-bound events.

As Chen highlighted, the true strength of an immersive forum lies in redefining distances, spatial boundaries, and ultimately the relationship between space and time.
